There's no place like home...                                                  

Hi! My name is Rachel Smith, and, I am an 18 year old mk living in Brazil. I am going to go to PCC in January for college. That should be interesting. I was born in São Paulo, SP, Brazil. Yes, that does mean that I have dual citizenship. No, it's not that convenient. The first stamp in my passport was when we went to Jamaica on a missions trip. I was 15. Even though I'd traveled internationally since I was one, I'd never had to get a stamp. I always felt like that girl  While You Were Sleepíng who yells at her boss, "I wish the wedding were yesterday, so that today I would have  stamp in my passport!" Random, I know.

Life in Brazil

Well, we live in a house. No, not one in the middle of a jungle, unless a concrete jungle counts..... hehehe...... One dif is when we are in the states and need clothes, you just go to the mall. Here, unless you want to pay 2-3 times more, you go downtown and look in all the stores, which gets boring very fast. I don't like to shop if you haven't picked up on that yet...

                Rachel will be a sophomore when classes start back in the fall. She is studying Advertising and Public Relations at Pensacola Christian College.  She is working at Camp of the Pines this summer.
