Dear Praying Amigos,
We want to thank you for your continued prayers and support for this church planting ministry. Without them, we would not be able to do the work of the ministry that God has called us to do.
Maria
In February 2007 our oldest daughter Maria graduated from High School. At the end of May, she returned to the USA will spend this summer working fulltime at college. This fall she will start her freshman year at Pensacola Christian College. Pray for her as she makes the big adjustment to the start living in the USA.
New Converts
Last week I witnessed to a couple whose 11 year old son Weidióly has been attending our church. Weidióly accepted Christ as his Savior during Sunday School a few weeks ago. I visited his parents last week and presented the plan of salvation to them. His mother Vera accepted Christ as her Savior. I will be holding a discipleship / evangelistic Bible study with this couple for the next few weeks. Pray for Vera’s spiritual growth and for her husband’s salvation. Pray also Christina, for Erica and Lucinir. These are some of the adults in our discipleship program.
New Musical Talent
While my wife Geri is stateside for a few weeks to help get Maria settled in at college, our middle daughter Rachel has stepped in and started playing for all the church services. She is doing a good job. We also have two ladies at church that are semi-novices on the piano and they are playing the offertories during the church services. While we were home on furlough a year ago, the church did not have any pianists nor any special music. Now we have both, even with our pianist traveling.
Have Guitar, will practice
Starting in July, we will be developing other musical talent at our church. We have a guitar teacher that will teach weekly guitar lessons at our church for the next three months. I think we will have 5 or 6 students that will be studying with him. Pray for us as we continue to develop the musical program at our church.

A New Church will be born
Pray for the new church that we will be starting this October. We still have not rented a facility yet, but plan to do so once we have another $1,500.00 to complete the first years´ rent. We need to secure a place to meet so we can start printing up the fliers for the inauguration. So far we have purchased 100 chairs and have the money in hand to build the pulpit and communion tables. Once this church starts, we shall be holding two Sunday evening services at two locations. We will hold one service at 5pm and then run and start the other at 7pm. It will keep us busy to say the least. Thank you for your prayers.
