Acts 13:1-3

Thesis: Preresiquites to missionary service.

I.    They were active for God before God ever called them.  Acts 13:1-2

II.    They were called of God - Act 13:2

        The Holy Ghost said: seperate me Barnabus and Soul for the work .."

III.    They were sent out in teams. Acts 13:3 "them"

IV.    They were sent out by their local church.  Act 13:3  "they"

Paul´s Pattern of Church Planting From Acts 14:21-23

I.    They preached the Gospel.  Acts 14:21

II.    They discipled their converts.  Acts 14:21  "and had taught many"

III.    They started churches.  Acts 13:23  "ordained elders and pastores"

IV.    They turned their churches over to nation leadership and continued the cycle.  Acts 14:21 "they commended them to the Lord on whom they beleived."
