Dear Praying Amigos,
We returned to Brazil less than four months ago, but since we returned, we have seen the Lord working in our midst here in Londrina. We have seen people saved, others baptized, new members joining the church, and much, much more. Since December is Christmas, let me share with you how God blessed during our Christmas activities this year.
On Saturday, December 9th, 2006 Geri held the Ladies Christmas Tea. As the Christmas song goes: “Deck the halls with boughs of holly”, we decked (out) the (fellowship) Hall with (fake) boughs of holly and Christmas decorations, etc. and had a good turn out for that event.
On December 10th, Geri, Rachel, and the pastor’s wife presented our Children’s Christmas program. They had been practicing with the children since October and things went well. The Lord gave us 67 for that presentation. Geri and our co-worker painted a floor to ceiling mural and placed it on three of the walls. The night shepherds scene with very lovely. Geri learned a lot of ideas from Philadelphia Christian School and Church and from Belmont Baptist Church’s drama department on how to make scenes for plays and she is putting what she learned into action.

Year End Yuletide Yodeling
At the end of October, it was with fear and trembling that we decided to present Ron Hamiliton´s Christmas cantata named “Ten Thousand Hallelujahs.” It is a play and a Christmas cantata all rolled up into one. Most of our choir members had never sung in a choir before, so they did not know how to read music or sing very well. Our oldest daughter Maria had the lead part in the play and she did a wonderful job. The Lord gave us 77 for that service.
